About us

In whatever we do, we strive for excellence

Central School is one of Vanuatu’s best-known public schools. It opened in 1966 as a primary school and now teaches from kindergarten through Year 13.

The school has more than 1,000 students and 63 staff. Over the decades it has built a strong reputation and has educated many of the country’s leaders. The staff and students keep to the motto: “In whatever we do, we strive for excellence.”

The school works by four values: excellent, respect, responsibility and transparency.
